Epic Heroes War Free Gems and Gold Codes

Listen, I've been playing Epic Heroes War for an embarrassingly long time now. Long enough that my daily login streak is in the triple digits. Long enough that my husband knows if I'm yelling "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" at my phone, it means the RNG gods have betrayed me again. Long enough that I have very passionate opinions about which starter hero is criminally underrated (it's Kaelis. FIGHT ME.) And for the longest time? Ohhhhhh boy. I was BROKE. Dirt poor. My gold was always gone the second I looked at my hero upgrades and my gem count had me looking longingly at the shop like a woman who was about to make some poor choices. It took me way too many dumb mistakes to figure it out so I'm writing this so you don't have to be me. You're welcome in advance. First things first: The things I did that were...not smart. Learn from my pain. Before we get to the good stuff I need to cleanse my soul a little bit. I impulse summoned. Constantly. Oh a new banner? Oooo rate up?! Must. Pull. Now. I cannot tell you how many gems went to pulling heroes that were either not for my team or straight up duds. I was like a raccoon seeing something shiny. I upgraded EVERYONE. Rookie mistake number 2. I had level 2 of every single hero in the game and absolutely no gold to actually make my good ones strong. Pick your faves friend. Pick. Your. Faves. I spent gems on the wrong crap. "Oooo I can speed up this 8 hour research with gems!" said the impatient gremlin in me. Said gremlin then had 12 gems left and could not do the thing she actually wanted to do. I ignored events for a hot minute. I thought "ahhh it's just some silly little login thing" then came crawling back on day 6 with my tail between my legs. Okay. I'm done hanging my head in shame. Moving on. Okay, the free gems. The sweet, sweet free gems. Gems are precious. They are the golden nuggets of this game. You do not throw them at every mildly shiny thing that blinks at you. You hoard them. You protect them. You whisper sweet nothings to them. Here is where I actually get mine from: The Daily Grind (but make it easy): I know, I know. Dailies. Boooooring. But listen to me, those little quests add up! Login, do your daily missions, knock out your arena battles, all of it. I have a five minute "while I'm drinking my coffee" routine for this game and it hands me gems every. single. day. Five minutes for free gems. I'll take it. Don't sleep on the Achievements tab. I swear this thing is like a treasure chest I forgot existed for months. Go poke around in there. There are gems hiding for the silliest things. "Clear stage X", "Upgrade a hero to level Y", "Own Z heroes". I opened this tab one day while procrastinating folding laundry and walked away with a nice little pile. Worth it. Events are your best friend. I don't care if the event looks goofy. I do it. The 7 day logins? Always do them. The seasonal events? Always worth poking at. The hero specific events? Oh especially those. I got a stupid amount of gems from the last "complete these missions with X hero" event because I already had them built. Free money baby. Arena is my weekly paycheck. I am by no means top of the leaderboard (the people up there are on another planet and I respect them) but climbing up a few ranks in arena and just completing your fights gets you a very respectable chunk of gems at the end of the week. Even if you're not a sweaty pvp'er, just doing your daily fights adds up. Guild goodies. Get yourself in a nice, active guild. Not the one that demands your first born. The chill one that does guild missions. Those guild chests and mission rewards have gems in them! My guild is just a bunch of us who yell about our pulls and send help when needed and we all get a little gem bonus for existing together. It's cute. The Growth Path/Milestone rewards. Another sneaky one! As you progress through the game there are milestone chests for clearing stages, leveling up etc. I went back and cleaned up some stages I skipped and got a nice little gem surprise. My rule of thumb: If the game is giving me gems for literally just playing the game? I'm taking them. Now the Gold. Oh sweet, stress inducing gold. Gold in this game has the lifespan of a snowflake in July. I swear I had 2 million gold last night. I blinked. It's gone. Where did it go? Upgrades. Always the upgrades. Here is how I stopped living in constant gold poverty: Farm the right stages. Not all stages are created equal my friend. I used to just mindlessly push forward. Don't do that! Find the stage that gives you the best gold per energy for where you're at and farm it when you're low. I have my "oh no I'm poor again" stage that I just rotate through when needed. Don't ignore the daily/weekly gold sources. Your daily missions give gold. Arena gives gold. Events give gold. It's free! Stop looking at it like chump change, it is keeping you from eating dry toast for the week. Sell your junk. I know it's tempting to hoard every single thing that drops. I was a digital hoarder for WEEKS. Go into your inventory, look at those 47 tier 1 whatever's you're never going to use and sell them. That gold adds up. I did a big clean out the other day and had enough to fully upgrade a hero I was working on. Felt like I won the lottery. Be smart with who you're dumping gold into. Listen. I love them all. I want them all to be strong. But Goldilocks over here cannot afford that. Pick 3-4 core heroes for your main team and focus on them first. My current babies are the three that just work for me. Everyone else gets the scraps until I'm feeling fancy. The idle rewards are free money. You know that thing where you close the game and come back to a pile of stuff? COLLECT IT. I used to forget for days. That's just leaving gold on the table! I set a reminder to just open the game real quick when I get home from work and scoop it up. Zero effort. Guild help + Guild shop? Some guilds have perks and the shop sometimes has gold tickets/items. Also if you're in a good guild people share. Not directly gold but helps you progress which saves you resources in the long run. Also pro tip from someone who has made this mistake too many times: If you're about to blow a chunk of gold on something and you're on the fence? Wait until tomorrow. 9 times out of 10 I came to my senses. The other 1 time? Well...we don't talk about that one either.
